This is a movie house located in a casino.Most of the theatres in Las Vegas fall into that category.Always plenty of covered parking.They get you to see the flick, get you to sit at a slot.So goes the theory.But the Galaxy Cannery Luxury+ Theatre is worth a visit JUST to see a film.Separate entrance so that the kiddies do not have to see all those degenerate gamblers hunched over the us a huge lobby area with even an arcade for the kids to sink their coins into the machines designed for them.There is a HUGE snack bar with prices that are really a joke.I mean really, really high.Guess that is the norm at most movie cinemas today.They make their money right there, not with the movie ticket so they milk ya for all they can.BUT this snack bar has dogs, sausage sands, beer and wine.Plus lots of FRESH popcorn.Stroll down the hall and into one of the huge auditoriums.They gutted the place a while back and put like 80 reclining chairs in each theatre.Luxury supreme.Problem is that it is so relaxing you tend to drift off if the flick is a dog.One basic note.Take along a a sweater or jacket, even in the Summer months.Why? They really crank up the A/C all the time.You can hang beef in this place.Overall they always have a bright and attentive staff and run a truly first class operation.
